Sunnyside Therapy is a small, independently owned and operated counseling facility, providing care to adolescents and adults interested in making life changes. Tally Iskovitz, LPC, and Atlas the "TheraPuppy" share the space collaboratively with our clients and friends.
Our clients' mental health needs vary, but our commitment to seeing them grow healthily through quality counseling and therapy remains the same. We welcome preteens, teens, young adults, and older adults, of all races, genders, sexualities, and religious backgrounds. Animal-lovers are welcomed with extra puppy-love.
We promise to focus on your needs, your natural supports, and strengths; to see you through every step of your journey; to be your trusted friend through times of struggle and change; and to celebrate success with you as a winning team.
As we strive to compete and "win at life" in an ever-changing world, Depression and Anxiety are some of the most common mental health conditions in our high-stress society. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, refocus on your true priorities, and find the joy and laughter in your life again.
Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events or unexpected life changes. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of healing. Tally has extensive background in expressive processing tools, such as Sand Tray, Creative journaling, Art therapies, and Relaxation techniques.
Tally is a part of a growing team of local practitioners who address gender identity and sexual orientation needs. Our policy is to affirm and support transitioning and questioning clients, provide documentation and resources as needed, and assist clients with navigating complex healthcare, legal, educational, and family support networks.
Most sessions are 50-55 minutes in length, and include just the client. The "client" is the primary person receiving care, and can be an adult, preteen (10+), or adolescent.
Family sessions are also 50-55 minutes in length, may include parents, siblings, or significant-others, but remain focused on the individual client and their therapy goals.
